Before becoming assistant head, I was the Maths Lead for 2 different Primary schools in Boston

·         Planned and delivered a range of Maths CPD across the school

·         Worked across the whole of KS2

·         Led Maths information evenings for Parents

·         Presented to Governors

·         Involved with LAMP- working collaboratively with other Maths leads and schools

·         Observed and monitored the impact of interventions

·         Conducted book scrutinies as well as STP and MTP scrutinies and identified areas of need

·         Conducted learning walks, lesson observations, pupil interviews and lesson drop ins

·         Introduced new resources, schemes and approaches in Maths

·         Reviewed and updated assessment procedures

·         Monitored new approaches/ schemes in Maths and measured impact

·         Developed/maintained/monitored whole school curriculum

·         Created action plans

·         Analysed SIP and ensure milestones are actioned

Personal ambition statement for SLE deployment: (150 words)

 

I am a motivated Year 6 practioner at Park Academy with the drive to improving Mathematical understanding for all children.  I feel that working together is an essential aspect of driving area wide improvement. I view working as an SLE to be a collaborative 2 way process where both parties involved can grow as a result and ultimately improve outcomes for children. My personal ambition as a SLE, is to work with more schools and practioners to ensure that no matter which school a child attends, they get the best possible Maths education.
