NQT Covid Update – IMPORTANT

We hope you are staying safe and adjusting to life during this difficult period whether that be working remotely or supporting critical key worker and vulnerable children in school.

This week named contacts from Lincolnshire Teaching Schools Together (LTT) Appropriate Bodies met to review the most current DfE guidance in relation to NQT statutory induction. Please find attached the letter from LTT Appropriate Bodies, their response and further supporting information for schools:

Teachers’ Standards Evidence LTT ABs COVID-19 (1)NQT Covid-19 and February 2021 lockdown

Please remember that the roles and responsibilities of all those involved in NQT statutory induction; Headteachers, Induction Tutors, Appropriate Bodies and NQTs will continue. Therefore, Induction Tutors will need to continue to support their NQTs.

Please be assured that the Appropriate Bodies in Lincolnshire will continue to work together to support all parties during these challenging times.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support, creativity and flexibility at this unprecedented time. If you do have questions that are not answered by this email or the attached please do not hesitate to get in touch.
