I am an experienced key stage 1 and 2 teacher with a wide range of experience gathered over 12 years of teaching. I have led both Maths and Science in previous posts, and began my current post of Maths leader two years ago. During this time I have led the change of culture of Maths teaching and learning in our school, successfully working alongside teachers in my own school to ensure improved progress in a short time frame. As an inclusive practitioner, I have experienced and value the importance of high standards to enable all children to achieve their potential. I am committed to ensuring that children are provided with inspiring learning experiences, which allow them to progress and achieve. As a role model within my school, I am highly motivated and enjoy collaborating with others to improve the outcomes for children within my own classes as well as the wider school community.

I am confident in supporting school action plans and monitoring. I have delivered INSET (including CPA, bar modeling, lesson design) and have good experience mentoring students and newly qualified teachers, as well as experienced teachers requiring additional support. I highly value collaborative learning, and have enjoyed working with colleagues on the Lincolnshire Attainment in Maths Project (LAMP), Teaching for Mastery Workgroups and Lesson design workgroups to improve best practice and also to reflect on my own practice. I feel I have acquired a wide variety of skills, which can benefit others, but which can also be shared and further developed by working alongside others.
