BOSTON WEST ACADEMY require a Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support a child with an education, health and care plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will have an awareness of the difficulties associated with early childhood trauma and, in particular, an understanding of the importance of secure attachments to a previously looked after child.
Main duties and responsibilities:-
 to meet the needs of the pupil as stipulated in the EHCP under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
 to liaise with appropriate individuals, including teachers, the SENCO, parents/carers and relevant agencies
This position is to work with a child in year 3 who likes music, is inquisitive and is interested in how things work and happen. He has social and communication needs so will require support with peer interaction, understanding social cues and will need someone to give him secure emotional support. It is important to reassure him that he is safe and to provide him with sensory support. He needs help regulating and managing his emotions and understanding these as well as others’ emotions. The main focus of learning support will be maintaining concentration during tasks in English, maths and other subjects as well as breaking instructions down into manageable steps where necessary. A range of behaviour management techniques will be beneficial to support this child.

BOSTON NURSERY SCHOOL, Church Lane, Boston require an Administrator
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and conscientious administrator at Boston Nursery School. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and ICT skills and have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role.
Duties include:
 providing administrative support;
 the organisation of nursery activities;
 the use of computerised systems to input and manage data;
 checking and banking cash received;
 maintaining accurate records;
 establishing positive relationships with all members of the school community;
 promoting the school;
 working independently in a busy office.
Grade 4, Salary Range £19,698 to £20,903 pro rata
20 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (during term time)
